Energy Ratings
We provide energy assessments for commercial and residential buildings. We have a wealth of experience in helping our clients create more environmentally sustainable buildings.
Our assessments comply with the energy efficiency requirements of the Building Code of Australia (BCA). Our experienced staff have a vast knowledge and expertise in residential energy ratings and commercial Section J compliance.
Our energy raters are accredited with the Association of Building Sustainability Assessors (ABSA) for Victoria and New South Wales using AccuRate. They are also accredited to provide BCA Thermal Performance assessments for Victoria and South Australia using FirstRate 5. We can also provide Thermal Comfort Simulation for Basix in New South Wales.
These assessments which are requested by local council or private certifiers are referred to by many different names, including an energy rating, an energy assessment, a 5 star assessment, a star rating or something similar. All are the same thing and we provide them for our clients.
An energy rating assessment includes all necessary energy efficiency compliance documentation to comply with all council requirements.
